세종학당재단은 케이-드라마, 케이-팝 등 한류 콘텐츠를 활용하여 한국어와 한국 문화를 학습할 수 있는 신규 콘텐츠 ‘케이-웨이브 코리안(K-WAVE KOREAN)’ 40편을 3월 15일부터 순차적으로 공개했다.

이번 콘텐츠는 해외에서 큰 인기를 얻었던 최신 한류 콘텐츠인 KBS 드라마 ‘너도 인간이니’, ‘닥터 프리즈너’, ‘어서 와’ 등으로 드라마 속 장면을 보며 외국인 학습자가 상황 별 한국어 사용법과 한국 문화를 간접 경험할 수 있게 구성됐다. 또한, 실제 한국에 거주 중인 외국인들의 경험담과 출연진의 상황극을 통해 한국어와 한국 문화를 보다 재미있게 익힐 수 있다.

영상은 각 편마다 5분 분량으로 지루하지 않게 한국어와 한국 문화를 학습할 수 있으며 인기 개그맨 김성원이 진행을 맡아 그 재미를 더한다. 출연진으로는 해외에서 두터운 애호가(팬) 층을 보유한 케이-팝 아이돌 그룹인 에이스, 루미너스 그리고 드림노트가 출연한다.
